What have you done to your set up today?

Did a 30g WC today.

In the transfer, I siphoned my areas of the lime green cyano I'm getting some out of the DT- about 8g worth of dirty water, and the rest from my sump.

I leave my system running normally when I take the 8g out of the DT.- it just drop the area out side the skimmer compartment about 1/2 way.
Then I shut down the RP, while all flow in my DT is still going and the level is only about 3/16 lower 'cause my nifty intank overflow keeps it constant. I don't think the fish really notice.

Then my mixing container- (plastic trash can on wheels) has been circulating all night with a Mag 3 and a 300W heater, SG was right on, and I pump with the Mag 3 back into the sump, as soon as the RP is covered- I restart the system and get the sump up to the level I loike to keep it at.

My DT seems so happy



Almost forgot,

I fixed a flat on my wifes bicycle,
bottled my 5g of beer I had fermenting,
and did the WC
all before 11 a.m.
Prodcutive morning!

 

That looks goooood! Makes me want some yellow color in my little tank...

 

Tonight I removed the water from my 93 cube.

I'm already missing it, and it's been 2 days.

Clean up, repairs and refill ! ! ! !

 

Caught and moved my 6" Magnificent Foxface from my 46BF QT and into my 125 (it was just as easy as you would think!). Then I did a 10% water change on the 46, changed carbon, cleaned out all 4 of my skimmers. Picked up a nice and fat 3" Kole Tang (Ctenochaetus strigosus) from a LFS and added him to the 46BF. Then pre-ordered a couple of wrasses to be shipped the end of the month

 

Well today, went to Farm and Fleet got some PVC and finished the plumbing on my sump.

Going from DT to 20gal Fuge tank then into a 30gal Sump..
Going to build a stand for the fuge this week hopefully and also put a DSB and LR in there with my Chateo..

Started a dose of Herbtana today because I noticed some tiny, white, ich-like spots on my clown goby. He's the only one that won't let the cleaner shrimp anywhere near him.

Over this weekend I've made 55g of RODI, cleaned all equipment in both of my tanks, replenished rodi reservoirs, used the rest 45g to make salt water and did 20% water changes in both of my tanks.

Cleaned up a ton of stuff laying around and am now resting.
