What have you done to your set up today?

I did a water change in my DT and did some cleaning on my power head and around the top of my tank with a tooth brush...nasttys lol

 

Cleaned the glass, Dripped my daily gallon mix of Kalwasser, and
sat back and basked in the joy of watching my fish and coral enjoy themselves!

 

cleaned the glass, mixed water for tomorrow's WC and watched my hammer head and button polyps going at it. Looks like the hammer head won the battle this week lol.

 

I changed out my sponges (first time turning the system off) was sweating it....but success! bought some new corals yesterday and finally have a RBTA! Yay! Now, just hoping it settles in and my clowns find it (fingers crossed).

Re placed a tipped over Favia.

Moved a colony over a bit- too close to a colony of Hammerheads.

Mixed my RO/DI- Vinegar/Kalc drip and began the drip in- about 5 days a week.

Enjoyed the beauty of my DT!

 

I plumbed it!

 

Finally got around to making a frame for my 8 bulb T5 fixture today. PVC was all I could think of to do it (hanging from ceiling or wall was not an option). I'm gonna take it down and spray paint it black now that I know it fits.

 

That works. Looks good. It'll look even better black. Good job.

 

Thanks! I'm scared to ask this because its a little late now, but I have the fixture 6" above my tank. I did some reading and that seamed to be about right? I won't kill the messenger if someone says this height is wrong!
