Out of town for 5 to 6 days starting tomorrow so...
    fed fish
    magfloat glass
    15% wt
    checked and rechecked timers
made a spare house key and gave to my bro to check on the ato and feed.

Its nice because work will be nonstop soon and I can buy what I need for my money pit. ;D

The downside is I wont get to see it as much!

Confirmed I will be building a stand for my 40 gallon tall, which will house a marine betta and a filefish or two. SO EXCITED.

Successfully set up my new drilled 75 and made the swap from my 55. All params stable and all live stock doing great. Loving the added space in the tank.

Soooo.. Idiot move of 2014 is already upon us from yours truly! Scrubbed all my glass and did a 20gal water change. Changed out the filter in my drain section of my DIY sump. Turned everything back on while I walked outside to dump the old water and come back in to see I left my drain hose laying over my filter basket and all the water was pouring directly onto my floor instead of in my sump.. DOh

    This weekend i:

    - Made 75 gal of salt water and changed water in all 3 of my tanks (110g, 55g and 20g QT).
    - Took out and cleaned every single piece of equipment.
    - Took apart pumps and vinegar soaked/cleaned calcium build up on magnetic impeller shafts.
    - Took apart both skimmers and cleaned them throughout.
    - Weeded
    - Drank 3 gin+tonics in the process.
    - Made and replaced 5 one gallon jugs of BRS additives (2 cal, 2 alk, 1 mag)
    - Stared at fish/corals a lot
    - Was rather pooped

changed out my filter floss in my sump, added new carbon and phosguard, and cleaned skimmer. Also got two new fish - a fairy wrasse and a kole tang. The LFS had very tiny kole tangs and I have always loved them but haven't had luck keeping them (never understood why) thought I would try again with my new set up since I have more room now.

Very awesome on the fairy wrasse! very very cool fish!!
It's my understanding (no real XP here) that tangs are touchy when adding them to a tank.
