My current pump is 6800 lph, I would like to have the opportunity to increase or decrease the flow rate.

For the DC-12000, it is adjustable from 3175GPH to 950GPH (12000-3600LPH), at 0 head pressure. I have mine on the third setting (of 6) in my 125.

I traded my swc160 for a hydor 1005 recirculating skimmer. This thing is a beast! For refrence it is sitting next to a 60 gal sump! uploadfromtaptalk1393817723874.jpg

what did you use to connect the 1.5" pipe that it came with? It's all metric. I have the 705 and it's a beast as well for my 90. I located my skimmer kinda further from the sump and what it came with didn't work. So I improvised with some silicon electrical tape and wedged it into a standard 1.5 we use here. So far no leaks.

    Must have been skimmer week...
I upgraded my Reef Octo NW110 to a Bubble Magus NAC6. I haven't seen any major scum after 3 days of running. I cleaned it all out in a vinegar bath. So we'll see what happens... I hope I made a good move here.

Why is the bubble column so low in the skimmer?

The guy i traded with gave me everything i needed. Except this clear tube. 5/8 inside diam i think. I just heated it up and spread it open till it fit on the nipple. uploadfromtaptalk1393885664879.jpg

Well the one recir pump was making noise so i took it apart. Then broke impellar shaft. So then hooked it all up with just one pump.

Then realised i could steal a shaft from a maxi jet i had laying around to make it work. Heres with both pumps going and almost 24hrs of run time. Wet skim but its deff pulling a lot of crud out! uploadfromtaptalk1393885769309.jpg

I'm sorry I meant the output of the skimmer. The large diameter PVC line that goes into the sump.
