I added a Pajama cardinal, and a damsel.

I briefly saw the PC yesterday,
and I can't find either one today.

Either they're in the rockwork- which is a possibility, or?
I"m thinking my strawberry Basslet chased the Damsel he may have jumped out- I've looked, haven't found him.

I"m now running a filter sock 24/7 cause my skimmer pump quit working properly- a new one is on order- it will be here in a few days.
    I just checked params yesterday:
    Alk-9
    Ca-450
    Mg-1500
I very happy with those with my methods, things are looking good atm.

Sunday was an "All about my reef" day for me. About twice a year I do a huge cleaning to supplement my monthly/weekly cleanings. I did a 80 gallon water change, I removed all my overflow plumbing and cleaned behind the overflows, I disassembled, cleaned, and reinstalled both protein skimmers, vacumed my sump, cleaned probes, cleaned the wet side of my vortecs, changed out carbon, and mixed up new Alk and CA+ solution. Took me about 3 hours. Tank looks awesome today. Time well spent....and done in advance of all the nice spring weather here in Georgia - just in time to start working on the yard

Over the past month I have had to perform some serious water changes. Phosphates got in the tank and before I knew it bam hard corals dieing. So I have done a little more than 500 gallons of water changes at 75 gallons at a time.

I then redid all my rockwork, purchased a new CUC (at least the start) and some fish. A wrasse, 2 small cardinals and 2 small firefich. My chromis killed them (all but the wrasse.) So the chromis were removed and given away.

And to think 2 months ago I wanted to sell it.::)

I did a 25G WC today. In doing so, all the water to the floor drain came out of the bottom of my sump- using a clear plastic tube and siphoning out all the detritus I could get to, and it was alot! The plastic tube would be dark brown as it picked up the detritus from the bottom of the sumps areas.

Cleaned the glass inside and out.

Rearranged one area of a large float rock with several large sps colonies on it- had to b/c the blue tipped green acro had grown to the front glass and I couldn't get in there to clean the inside of the glass.

Also admired my newest fish addition- a blue damsel, it seems the strawberry basslet is leaving him alone more now.

I did my bi-weekly water change & cleaning today. Once a month I do a thorough inspection and check hoses, wiring, fans, etc. to make sure everything is ok and no leaks.

    That is nice Bob^^

I made up my gallon drip of vinegar and Kalwasser and began dripping to my sump- takes me about 3-4 minutes.

Emptied my skimmer cup- quick daily task.
Watched my massive chaeto mass grow- that was kinda slow ;-)
