I turned the lights on and admired how far it has come in the almost 4 months it has been set up since I set up my first reef tank. Not too much to look at yet only some xenia and mushrooms and a few fish and CUC but everything is doing great. Pods have exploded and purple coralline is starting to cover almost every piece of rock in the tank. Most importantly no signs of disease or terrible algae issues :)

I added 3 new corals 2 days ago and changed out my return pump again, still trying to find the one I like. I went from a mag12 to a mag 7 now I am using a mag 9.5, I really ought to get rid of some of this equuipment I am accumulating.

Making water today for Sunday WC.
Fed a sheet of Nori to the tank.
Tested water for the Big 3.
Marked the spot on the new tank to place the sea swirls as return flow.
Looked at water bill noticing it went up $50 after filling new tank.

Came back from out of town for two days, and viola!

DT looks great, everyones happy, etc.

Rearranged a few corals, mag floated the glass, and sat back in my recliner accross for my widescreen (6ft.) TV - my DT! and watched in awe as I usually do for hours!

Recenlty plumbed my sump to the basement- finally- good move.

Recently gave away some Chaeto, softies, etc, to a newbie in the area with a 8g nano.

And fragged my Green pocillapora, my sunrine monti, and my monti flower, so that I can trade NORG some frags next week He has to drink some of my homkebrew beer in the deal- it's damn good though. He lives near me.

I'm happy to report that my Reef tank is kicking a$$ and taking names!

Cleaned my tank up a little, topped it off, fed fish, sat back and stared at it for a hour or so.
