picked up an Apex over the weekend. Super stoked, just need to get it going, but I want to plan it out rather than just throw it in there and go go go...

Here's a pic of the new pumpkin patch chalice I got and also added a juvenile emperor angel fish. Eating like a pig already.

Today I conrinued to keep my alk at 8, and slowly trying to raise it to 10ish- hoping that might bring back more purple/coralline?

What LFS do you go to up there? It took my Emperor all of about a day to get in the mix for the eating pecking order! I need to get up your way and check out your tanks since you moved. Or come down this way sometime. My local forum has monthly meetings and one of the LFS brings about ten frags for drawings, also members bring frags to swap and trade as well. I'm going to host one here in the next few months and BBQ. Maybe come down for that. That's an open invite to anyone close to Indialantic Fl.

back on track.. I noticed my chaeto was getting dirty, so I took it out and rolled it in some RO/DI water, I hope I didn't deplete it of its nutrients, but it's back to its vibrant green color now.

Hung my halide/T5 fixture last night. Looks so much better than sitting on wood blocks.

You added a Bio wheel? You sure you want to do that?

Today, I watched my tank in awe on how well my corals and fish are doing. And one of these months, I'm still going to get that 180 out of my garage and into my Family room, transfer everything, and have my current 125 as my sump down in the basement- one of these months!
