    I relearned that you can get some awesome deals if you wait a little while on things.
    Picked up a 180- like new- already has 2 bulkheads drilled in it.- $200

    My tank is 48" and I don't think I can get by with anything less than 36" long. Other wise I have to buy 2 fixtures.at 18"-24" each.

    I learned that my arms are not 36 inches long, and I can now snorkel in saltwater in my mancave ! ! ! And ts just not fun at all.

    I thought I would bring this thread back alive. There is a lot of information out there and I like to read about every process I come across. Whether it be skimming, to growing copepods for feeding fish. I thought that you guys might like to share what you have learned during your research and surfing through the web.

    I learned that there are many different types of LED fixtures and not all of them are created equal. They may say 3 watt LEDs but they may not be running at 3 watt. You can tell by whether they have fans or not. Even some with fans are not being run at their capacity.
