    Hello all,

Well I am finally close to getting the water added to my tank, just need a few more things then will be ready to go. My next big thing I need is a heater; it seams many use the Visi-therm stealth heaters and the Titanium heaters. Of these 2 types of heaters which do you prefer and why?

My tank is a 125g and I was thinking of running 2, 300w heaters.

Oh and for the Titaniums what name brand is better?

    Thanks in advance,

    Ed

Every tank we have has a Stealth in it. The temp is super easy to set, plus the heater is matte black with no annoying lights or anything like that. They're very durable too. We've never had a temp problem with any of ours. Plus, it makes heating up water change water in a bucket very handy when I do my 2 gallon changes in the mantis tanks because the heater only heats up where the water touches it. Very cool feature, IMO

Seems its a toss between the stealth and the titaniums. I noticed the stealth only go to 250w where the titaniums go to 300w. Do the titaniums have an indicator for when they are on? Thats one thing that I dont really like about the stealths but people still seem to like them.

Titaniums go way up.. Not sure what the biggest is but I have a 500 W from ebay. I would not trust any heater with a built in thermostat.
Get a titanium heater for sure.
2 300W sounds like a good idea...that way if one fails you have another going.

I use ebo jager....I really like their design.
