    the finnex heaters and controllers are nice, built in hi and low temp alarms!

    I was going to get 2 heaters 2 controllers just incase 1 went on the fritz ...now im starting to concider the finnex 1 again...ill have to come up with something to hold the elements...

    Yea, I'm back to finnex.. Probably gonna place my order today for 2 x 500 watt elements. From all the research I've been doing, seems finnex is the way to go. I have seen a couple failures, but nowhere near the complaints of the other brands. Will probably get the zoo med mag clips to hold the finnex's. If you find another mounting solution, let me know.

    Now im rethinking the finnex mabe ill just get a controller reefkeepr lite or something to that effect

    Try the Fluval E Series heaters. I use one on my 180g w/ 55 gallon sump and it holds the temp around 79 pretty well. It's the only heater I've ever liked.

    For the money id be spending on 2 heater controllers I could get reefkeeper lite and 2 elements and still be ahead of the game :)
