What I Do When Frustrated At Work

Anyone else guilty of this?

My employer has added 3reef to the "allowable" websites catagory for my log in, other wise i was limited to 2 hours a day, which meat that I was only doing 15 mins of work a day, as thats all i had left from my allotment.

 

Thankfully I'm not proxied so I have the freedom to do stuff like this... Being an Admin helps with proxy decisions. Normally I bring up the tanks first thing in the morning and we watch them throughout the day. It's amazing how just watching for a few minutes releases stress and refocuses the group. It's funny walking into our department and seeing the whole IT group staring at the monitor. Reef tanks for the win I suppose.

 

Hmmm.... I definately need one of those. Instead, I have a 5 gallon nano on my desk.

 

i have a basement office... so i have a 1' cube to stare at in lieu of a window!

I just walk down the hall. I work from home so I can visit the tank anytime.
It's both a blessing and a curse. It can sometime be hard to get any real work done :-/

 

If I did that, I don't think I would get much work done...

Although my boss does want a SW tank for the office
