So I haven't been able to load the 3reef page since yesterday morning. Whenever I tried entering the usual http://www.3reef.com into the address bar I'd get a page saying something about the domain name having just been registered by someone blah blah blah. It's taken me this long to find another way onto the site (http://www.3reef.com/forums) I am the only having this problem?

i was having that problem too...although it was just yesterday and in the evening. has anyone changed their sigs lately? it was either reformatted or matt's busy at work for the moment....

it's almost as though the whole site is in the process of something.

I had that problem yesterday from 11am to 4pm central time.
Even when getting in through the different /forums /locations and other links i also could not get in. Seems fine now. Maybe that is matt asking us to donate more so he can pay the bill for the domain name on time :)

Glad it wasn't just me...and glad that things are almost back to normal...
but the 24 hrs w/o 3reef was almost too much for me! I had to go to other forums and sites to ID the flatworms I have all over my tank...
    ;)

It wasn't the domain name renewal. Something went wrong at the hosting company.

http://www.3reef.com should work just fine for you now.

    Go to http://www.3reef.com
    and then reload the page...
From my limited understanding of this here information superhighway, your computer might be simply reloading the 1&1 screen from memory or something like that...refreshing will ask it to look again and hopefully you'll get the real deal...
    good luck!
ps needless to say the usual address works for me again...
