Check out WorkHorce ballasts, I used the 5 series for my old school PC upgrade.

Personally, I wouldn't invest any more money in such old technology. You can get better color selections, more PAR, and longer life with T5HO, and fixtures are not that expensive, anymore. LED is an even better choice, although still a bit pricey for higher-end units (dimmable, controllable, etc).

That said, Marine Depot and Aqua Cave (3Reef sponsors) sell PC ballasts.

Mr. Bill, I agree with you.

I mean, a dimmable blue and white (now with ohter colors too!)
120W (=about 300-400W MH) LED is around what? 150-$180 now? (EBAY)
When you buy bulbs for 2 years for your PC ( I started with them btw- went straight to non dommable LEDs- also an excellent choice)
you woukld have paid for your LED- and thise bulbs last like 15 years!

Fulham Workhorse ballasts are dirt cheap and work excellent for PC bulbs. Another source is Hellolights.com, they even sell retro replacement kits ready to go.

I agree PC is old technology but if you already have it and don't have the $$ or inclination to change at this point a ballast is inexpensive.
