    30 and up not a nano 29 and down a nano well down to a 5 which is pico as evey else was stating

    I don't think there is a right or wrong answer. This hobby has so many different variables from what is right and what is wrong, what works and what doesn't, it really is overwhelming at times. I also think the size of a persons aquarium will have a large part in determining their answer.

    I thought any tank you had to use a HOB filter was a Nano
    and any tank that you could not fit a skimmer on was a Pico

    and any small container with too many fish in, was a tin of pilchards
    LOL?

    but I voted sub 30
