There is none unless you plan to remove ALL fish from the tank for an extended amount of time. Quartine everything, trust nobody, and question it all before you place in your DT.

    ^^ What these guys said.

If you don't QT, a healthy system with well fed fish goes a long way to avoid an outbreak.

+1 for this. If you do get ich then put all your fish in quarantine and run copper or hypo to kill the ich on them. Leave your DT empty during this time and you will have an ich free system when done. And if you don't add anything else that hasn't been quarantined you should be ich free forever.

Of course depending on the amount of fish and size of tank this is easier said than done. :-/
