I have a 120 gallon with 80 lbs of aragonite sand and 40 lbs of base rock and a few lbs of live rock. I have sand on my rocks all the time what is the best way to keep it clean?

Would constant sand on my rocks affect the corraline from spreading?

    Thanks

move your and by the rock and it should brush off. i dont think it will affect the coralline algae at all.

plus 1, but i only do it once a week or so.

its important to clean off rocks anyways for nutrient control. if you havent ever done it might want to plan a water change right after. kinda like stirring up a sand bed.

I use the turkey baster too, just for sand though. I leave the crud for the detritovores.

Do you use powerheads and if so how are they positioned in your tank? This could be the cause of sand blowing on your rock.
