    Hey everybody,

If you have seen my other recent threads, you will see that i posted another thread about a frogspawns head dying out. I didnt know what happend. Some people suggested it was my peppermint shrimp, so i took them out of the tank. But now it happend AGAIN! Another head is just dying out! I dont understand ANYTHING! There must be a thing in my tank that eats it, maybe something that is invisible to the naked eye. The head is just slowly dying out, like almost falling apart! WHAT IS HAPPENING?! I'm panicking alot, i dont know what to do. Its not the water parameters that for sure, because i keep acropora and montipora corals without any problems. I also succesfully keep all of the other corals in my tank (Finger leather, GSP's, mushrooms, acropora, montipora). I even keep a malu sebae anemone! I dont understand it! None of my other corals are getting eaten off or falling apart. Please help!

What other corals are within 8" of your frogspawn?

    Euphyllia eating flatworms do exist.

Have you dipped it to rid of parasites? You've been having problems with it for a while. If your params are good & no livestock (fish or corals) is hurting it. Then it sounds like a parasite of some sort.

wow.. boywithafishtank is on 3reef.com EDIT: Small world

Last time I checked, you had all kinds of problems with your system. Since that was only a few months ago, should I get back onto your YouTube channel and see these Acros and Montis? ;)

Frogspawns are not as easy to keep as people make them out to be, especially when your water is less than perfect...

Yes the tank is doing VERY well :) My montis and acros are growing very well, and are doing great in the tank. My fish have no parasites either. I've had some bad experiences with some specific stores, which is probably why my fish died ALL the time. But since i bought the fish from a new store, i've never lost a fish. I now keep a dottyback and 3 chromis so everything is great :) I was very unlucky to run into majanos, aiptasia, parasites, algae outbreaks and stuff. I'm just unlucky i guess, but now the system is in almost complete balance

I have dipped all of my corals, and inspected them very well. I've done EVERYTHING to keep my corals healthy :) I dont think its a parasite, i think its something suspicious in my tank that eats it. But i'm not sure. The parasite didnt come with the coral, i'm sure about that. I use Coral ReVive for my coral dipping :)

Are they visible to the naked eye? If so, i've never discovered any sort of flatworms. I would have noticed it earlier thats for sure. I've also looked at the place where the coral died out, and i cant see any visible creatures sitting on it :S

Only some green star polyps that are growing alot. They are not in the reach of the frogspawn though, and as long as i've heard they dont sting either.

Oh and btw, there are no problems with water quality what so ever. Since i have a sebae, acropora, and montipora thriving, its probably a sign of very good water quality. My water might be too clean to keeping frogspawn, but i dont think so. I keep duncan corals too, and i believe they need pretty dirty water aswell. I think something is eating it, i just dont know what.
