Im fairly new to the hobby and had a few questions for all the experts out there. Im currently building a 75 gallon (48x18x21) and wanted to know about some equipment and suppliea that would make my life easier, do i need a digital refractor of a plastic one? what is a good test kit for a 75 gallon? what is a good but cheeper but good salt to use? what would be a good sand to use? How many lbs or base or live rock?

What I have: tankand stand, RODI unit, protien skimmer, 55 gallon to be used as my sump, heater for a 80 to 110 gallon.

I have a running standered 20 gallon with approx 25-30 lbs of live rock, crushed coral sand bed heater, T5 light (will be used under the 75 as a refugium light), and same basic chemicals.

any proven and or cheeper segustions are apreciated.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !

What powerheads are you going to use?
If you give the ATS time to grow out, they are great. People have just gotton away from them since chaeto has become so popular.
