What is the best brand of metal halide light?

    My 2x250 watt metal halide bulbs just burned out today and i was wondering what is the best brand of metal halide light i can put into my fixture. It has to be an HQI bulb and 250 watt. Please help???

    HQI is not ALWAYS double ended... but 90% of the time it is.

    Radium 20k and Phoenix 14k are amazing. If you wan the icy white look, then go with Ushio 14k

    I have coralvue lights in my MH. I got 20K and I love them. I have seen their 14K also.

    I run the Reeflux (coralvue) 14k with a pair of coralvue ballasts, works great for me, not too blue and no hint of yellow on the white side.
