    Any skimmer less expensive than that (about $150), you will end throwing in the trash and wishing you had never looked at it. You get what you pay for and cheap skimmers are less than useless. The good news is there really is no reason to have a skimmer on a nano. It is very easy to do a 25% or so water change on a small tank, which will accomplish a lot more than a cheap skimmer. The only things you'll accomplish with a cheap skimmer is flooding your living room when it overflows.

    I have an Aqualife mini 115 which works very well and priced reasonably.
