    +1 on all points. Plus, you are going to be dosing no matter what you choose. I did my initial fill with Reef Crystals.

    I use both Tropic Marin regular and Pro-Reef. Expensive! I bought a stash of the huge 200G buckets before the price went up. I still have 3 buckets left, but when those run out, I may look into a less expensive mix.

    I like Oceanic due to the higher cal and mag--less expensive than RC and mixes cleaner.

    tropic marin all the way. I use their pro reef salt and love it!!!

    Red sea salt or red sea Pro... From all the research I did when I contemplated switching, thee 2 were the best without spending more $$ than necessary. The red sea is like 45-50 dollars for a 200g bucket.

    I got tired of the issues with Reef crystals.
