What is the difference between these two things

    Coralife t5 2 bulb fixture 10000k and actinic and two 15 watt t8 zoo med aquatic bulbs. One of which being 10000k and the other a 420 actinic bulb.

    depends on the size of the t5 bulbs? what wattage are they?

    Not completely sure.... they are stock bulbs. They don't say a watt.

    What is the length of the fixture? That always determines your wattage for the bulb.

    14 watt. It is a 24in fixture. Soooo does That make the 15 watt bulbs better?

    not really. too small of a difference, and you are going to be able to find replacement bulbs for T5's much easier.

    those lights are ok for most corals right? like mushrooms obviously but how about

    whoops...... mushrooms obviously but how about leathers and the other type of corals.....sps, lps. not completely sure of the difference between them.

    Probably OK for leathers and LPS but most likely not SPS for either pair of bulbs. The T5 will be better if it has a highly polished reflector. Bulbs are about equal with the same quality of equipment. You will need to have 4 bulbs of either to keep SPS and most likely only low light SPS.
