    I found this at my lfs, they had found it at the bottom of the tub of live rock. Neither of us knew what it was. kinda creeps me out.... it was also making the weirdest movements. about 6-7 in long. ;D weird.jpg

    That really is bizarre. I just spent an hour looking at holothurian photos without finding anything close. I did find mention that some sea cucumbers may have flattened or shield-like tentacles, though. Scanning through a comprehensive survey of the sea cucumbers of Guam didn't reveal anything similar...I wish LeslieH would drop by, if she couldn't ID it some of her colleagues at the LACM almost certainly could.

    HAHAHAHA!!!!! I just showed the photo to my wife and read her the opening statement.....and she said it looks like a funky Manatee Embryo, lol I'm going to have to back her up on that one, that thing is pretty funky.
