what is this coming out of my live rock?

    Hello im a newbie of course. I was wondering what this thing is growing out of my live rock. Theres a few, and i noticed they are growing and slowly moving. At first i thought it was a plant of some sort but now im thinking some sort of worm? Thank you!

    usually its still. until i watched it for a lil while and it did move somewhat. Yes like a worm

    hahaha i knew that was coming.... me and my girlfriend laughed about it for awhile haha...figured i would let others make their own assumptions hahaha. But really would like to know what these are.

    do they ever stretch from the rock to another or to the sand? ussually after the lights are off
