    I have three of these things and i'm not sure what they are. They don't seem to be hurting anything in the tank at all but it would still be nice to know what they are.

    They are really good for removing algae, but occasionally will feed on coralline algae. They are bad news if you have an acrylic tank as they secrete acid which can burn though the plastic.

    OMG!! Thank you for posting these pics before me!! I have these too! But I have a glass tank. Will these hust the coraline algae growing on my live rock??

    I have em and they dont bother my coralline, but my coralline is reallt thick....
