What is this furry brown algae?

    What this furry brown algae ? I cant seem to match it with a pic on another searched thread. It looks like fozzy's fur from the muppets. It is isolated to 1 rock more or less and is just spreading onto the sand a bit.

    My tank has cycled but it still new.

    Params are:
    Ammonia: 0
    Ph: 8.1
    Trite: 0
    Nitrate: 10ppm
    Meq/l:3.5

    I have had my light running very sparsely during cycle and have had them running about 8hrs a day for the past 3 days or so. CUC is working on this algae but can I assist to get rid of it in any way?

    If your tank is new then its probably dino. Its normal and will go away.

    It its what it is and how it should be.
