    zap him with some kalk paste or joes juice, or inject him with lemon juice, or he will multiply

    Its a pest anemone. if you had coral in the tank, it would sting it. Since it is just cycling, it wont do anything bad to your tank. But annie is right, you want to get rid of it or else it will take over your tank. Good luck and welcome to 3reef!

    It is not going to hurt anything especially in a cycling tank I would just leave it alone it just is something else to look at eventually you can zap him with a syringe of some lemon juice or really hot water or kalk paste I have never removed any of the one that cropped up in my tank my peppermints always get them in time.

    i would think that in the time it takes the tank to cycle, the one problem could turn into dozens easily.

    thanks guys, after cycling I plan on adding my clean up crew. Should I worry about it now or just wait for the clean up crew to take care of him?

    your clean up crew probably will not touch him. i would get him now, cause they rapidly reproduce and can plague a tank in the end. get rid of it now while its easy.
