    Its not. It's a polyclad as previously mentioned.

    100% solid ID. No need for anymore guesses :D

    +1 to polyclad. I had not seen the measurements when I first read the post...must have missed that part.

    Pics can be decieving when there are no other objects to compare sizes.

    Here is one I pulled out of my tank with a nickel to give you an idea how big they are.

    Yeah, the get pretty big, up to about 6 inches in length. They will eat both snails and clams. Notice the resemblance to a tridacnid mantle? They can blend in pretty well as they attack some clams. They attack their prey chemically, and can eat just about any molluscs that they can surround.

    Those things suck. They eat snails and all sorts of other stuff.

    Definitely polyclad flatworm, snail eater. Got one in a frag, took pics, killed it. And CoralRX did not kill it when I dipped the frags, FYI.

    This one was hidden inside the empty, standard-sized Astrea snail shell.
