what is this, maybe coldwater corals?

    Thanks for the response, however someone responded on another forum I'm on and said they look like golden star turnicates (an invasive species to the sound from england and the mediterranean) which look pretty accurate but I'll look into bryozoans as well just to make sure :)

    I was aiming toward tunicates as well.

    Shoot an email over to the Long Island Aquarium and Exhibit Center in Riverhead. Address it to Joe Yaiullo. He or one one their aquarists can answer.

    pretty close but the golden star turnicates look a lot more alike
