I know it is a little blurry and I have asked about this before but it is really bothering me and I need to know if this is bad stuff ?

It looks like tiny stars on my glass about 2mm in size. There are many of these in my glass.

Had this tank for about 2 months now.

hydroids. very common with new tanks

will go away when tank matures. but could also get outta hand. just keep up water quality and you will be fine

I already have two tangs in there .. and a pair of clowns .. will they do harm to them ? I have seen the tangs scratching against rocks .. not sure if these things are on their bodies.

Where do these come from and how would they go away eventually ?

they wont harm any of your fish. but personally a tang should be in a more mature tank.(just my 2 cents)

anyway. the hydroids likely came from the live rock, and they are jellyfish hydroids, like a larval stage....i think. but if you keep the water prestine then they will not have the nutrients to keep them fed. so they die off.... i think. lol

i never really worried about them when i saw them. so neither should you
