I noticed this a few minutes ago in my 12g nano. The only thing that is in that tank is a couple of snails, purple dottyback. some sort of crabs in shells that eat algea and a choc chip startfish.
It is only on this one rock and it's right in front of my pump.
I know it's not eggs from my snails. I know what they look like.

    Any Ideas?

Have you fully checked the tank out about 2-3 hours after the lights are off with a good flashlight? All kinds of strange things come out that you wouldn't normally see. I would bet it is eggs/pods of some sort.

I know things come out at night. I have never seen this before. It looks like neat rows of string, but I know they are eggs of some sort, but what?

Kinda looks like white hair algae to me. If its eggs... you might find out what they are soon when they hatch lol. Let us know what it was.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
It looks similar to a nudibranchs egg laying pattern (ribbon), but a more obvious choice would be some type of snail eggs, what type of snails do you have?

I don't believe it's the snails eggs. They like to leave their eggs on my glass and they look like tiny cinnamon rolls, but they may be.
The snails are nassure snails, or something like that

My ceriths leave them on the glass and the rocks. I'm sure other snails do the same.
