    Hey guys, need this identified.

Nice and blue, plate like skeleton, fleshy top. No huge tentacles, but has some fleshy inch long rather big tentacles. Looks like it has several mouths or something on the top of it.

Plate coral. Should go on the substrate.

I had it in the substrate for the longest time ... and the edges always looked really bad. sand would cover them ... and tissue would die. Since moving it to the rock ... it has done great.

Is there a reason it does better in the sand? Same reason as brains and moons I'm guessing?

Looks to be a fungia- plate coral.

Mine likes it on the rocks better than the sand as well. If it likes it on the rocks, leave it there.
