What is this plant??

    I was cleaning the Picotope, and found this plant growing near the back. I had seen it before, but it was much smaller. My fish moves it around, but I had not seen it for awhile and thought it was gone. I like it, and planted it up front. It does have a small root system.....anyone??

    its a macro algae... i think its called penny macro or money plant?
    just a guess, might be wrong though...

    Halimeda looks like that.

    I doubt it could be this, but shaving brush plants have roots that look like that, too.
