What is this red hair?

    Can someone tell me what this red hairy looking stuff is growing beside this coral? It seems to be taking over the rock and possibly killing the coral.

    It looks like one of the algae from the Nuisance Algae Thread.

    Theres' some similar looking algae growing in my tank. I ended up using tweezers to remove it.
