    I don't have a real camara and my phone won't pick it up but it's pretty kool looking it's got three long tentacles it looks like it's brown and black and it's stuck on one of my rock any ideas ? Hope this thing isn't trouble.

    I bet its 3 legs visible of a brittle star fish hiding in a crevice on the rock?

    After looking at pictures I believe it's a brittle star fish. Are these ok to have or pests? Thanks for the help everyone

    I believe it, if you believe it

    they are harmless filter feeders in majority of tanks and never become a nuisance IME

    Good call on the star fish. It threw me off when he said "stuck on" instead of "located in/under" the rock.

    have one in my 55 gallon. It was part of a CUC that I purchased. I have only spotted it once as it hides all day long and only comes out when the tank and room are completely dark. Brittle stars are harmless as long as the color your seeing is BLACK/BROWN and not GREEN.
