What is this tiny thing?

    I hope this is not bad news. It's sticking on the glass. It's really tiny as you can see the K3 power head in the background. Anyone know what it is?

    maybe some kind of hydroid, check the id this common IDs there are some good links there.

    You got good skills... I would have looked at that and thought it was a piece of coraline algae starting.... K+ for caring so much for your critters you examine stuff that small

    i'm new to this. I'm excited to see every little things happening in the tank. I still remember when I was so excited seeing the nitrite reading was increasing from 0 ppm to 0.25 ppm the very fast time just a month ago. I was practically jumping for joy. :D

    My money would be on either a Hydroid or a sea spider, if it moves around.

    Its definately a hydroid in its free swimming stage. Suck it out before it grows into into brown fuzzy stage and stings everything
