What is this tiny thing?

Found a much bigger one in the fuge. Is it an Aiptasia? What's the proper way to get rid of it?

 

looks like Aiptasia to me.

 

for aiptasia , theres store bought remedies. or home remedy with injecting the base or mouth with lemon juice. and pluckin the sucker out. dont rip it off, could spread then. or injecting the base with boiling water , then grabbin the weed and removing.

 

thats really hard to tell if thats aiptasia or not. what color is it? the aiptasia ive had in the past was a greenish brown with a flowered head. almost anenome like. if this is aiptasia kill it right away!!!! use lemon juice with a hypadermic needle, inject it at the base of the stem. if you have a turkey baster have that in the other hand and suck at the same time you inject. you do not want this to spread. as far as your spider looking thing i believe its a hydroid. We discovered them in our tank as well. Dont panick they are harmless and will die off because there is not the right kinds of food in our tanks to support life. should be gone in a few weeks (so ive been told) happy reefing

 

I see. When you say inject it at the base, do you mean just spread on the base? This thing is still very small. The base is just about the same as as a needle.

 

Ohh yeah thats aptasia.. stick the needle in the body of the aptasia and actually inject it.. can blast with a shot of hot water from a turkey baster if nothing else is near and net it when it releases as well
