what is this white ball

    I just noticed this white fuzzy looking ball on a rock this morning. No idea what it is. About 1/2 cm. Is this a fungus, algae, eggs? Its a 6 gal fluval edge with a clown, pom pom crab, cleaner shrimp, snails, and hermits

    I believe it is a white ball....or it could be a slightly off white ball. I have them in my tank as well, never able to figure out exactly what they were so I gave up but they have never hurt anything in the tank.
