I've got a ball of cheato in my refugium. There have been these brownish tube things in the cheato since I've got it. Tonight, after the DT lights wen out, and the refugium lights came on, I noticed there were these little whitish maybe dandelion looking things coming out of the ends of these brownish tubes. What are these and do I need to get rid of them? This is the best pic I could get with my phone.

Featherduster worms. They make calcareous tubes and then they filter-feed on particulates in the water column.

    Completely harmless.
