    Sorry the pictures are not that great, just bought a new camera and charging it up right now so maybe I can get some better ones later tonight.

    It is def. a soft structure. When the photo was taken it also appeared that some whispy structure (like cotton candy) was coming out of it like a web.

    Just did a google on the Corynactis anemone and yes I think you are right on!
