what is this?

    I recently bought a rock that has a bunch of mushrooms things on it and about 2 days ago i noticed something growing in the middle of the rock it has a pinkish hue to it with a stem and almost looks like cauliflower. can anyone tell me what it is?

    Well, the mushroom things you see are probably just that, mushroom coral. And the other sounds like either a small colt coral or kenya tree coral.

    well its hard to tell from the pic but it has a small but distinct pink hue to it any ideas on what kind of sponge?

    Wouldn't even begin to guess, LOL! Sponges seem to be one of the hardest things to get any kind of positive ID on.
