    Hello , Im currently on my 2nd week of cycle, and I just discovered this thing on my live rock , I dont know what it is but Im sure it came with the rock.

    any idea of what it is ??[​IMG]

    looks like you have some aptasia,you dont want them.

    They look like majano anemones to me, a pest anemone.

    What I do ?? take the rock out of the tank and clean it ?

    Are they isolated to the one rock?
    If so I would remove it and let it dry out completely a day or two and put it back in to recycle.

    You do not want those pest spreading to the other rocks and it looks like you have a few small ones popping up as well.

    If you bought this LR at the local fish store, I would ask for my money back or a replacement with LR that has no pest anemones on it.

    I took the rock out of the tank, I'll let it dry for a few days before I put it back in the tank ...
    also bought aptasia-x just in case

    All I do to kill aptasia is smother them in super glue. Problem solved. I have never had a single one comes back by doing it this way.

    I'd agree they look more like mojano's than aipstasia. Aipstasia-X should still work great on the small ones, but if they get too big you will have to hit them with it a few times. Just don't let it get out of hand!
