Hey all. I just got home and I was looking at the tank and I saw that on some areas of my rock I have this white cotton like thread and on some areas it's like white cotton patches. Any ideas what this can be?

Then perhaps you seeing just some detritus that and other debris. Seems a bit early to be seeing vermatids unless you used some cured live rock.

This is an excellent link to find and ID some of the common critters that will be popping up as the tank evolves.

    Live Rock Hitch Hikers

Vermatids are not your typical snail, reminds me more of worm.

Cool link thanks. I did use a couple of pieces of live rock from a nano tank I have at my office.
