I have no idea what this is growing in my wife's nano (the reddish lettuce looking stuff growing on the rock below the power head). It's almost lettuce looking, and keeps growing. It doesn't seem to be hurting anything. Any ideas? Should I pull it off?

Not that I know of. Is it good, or should I leave it or trim it?

It's Halymenia Floridana, AKA Red Dragons Breath algae. It's not harmful, but usually needs Nitrates to survive. Might want to test your NO3. Some will be willing to buy it for their refugiums, or even a decorative algae display tank, so i would not just throw it away.
