I've seen this thing on my tank a few times and usually when the lights are off. I have no clue of what it is. Any ideas?

It looks like its got legs. At least it's not on your corals. But I have no clue, my guess is a clear starfish.

The picture is very dark so it s hard to tell. Perhaps Manjo?

I looks nothing like a sea star. Does look like an anemone but like I mentioned I've only seen it with the lights off and on the sand. The reason why the picture is dark is for the same reason and the clearest picture I could take. I'll have to mentioned that after my algae Benny died it found it and ate some of it too.

I would do a thorough search & make sure it's not harmful before it multiplies & takes over.

    thank you!

I spend 1-2 hrs a day(sometimes more) examining my tank and I've seen just one so far about 4 times already and I can't take it out to take a closer look cause is always behind my rocks and that means that I have to take my tank apart to get to it. So far is not worth it. All my fish are doing good besides the blenny that died and my porcelain crab that also died yesterday.

I've check my water and I have no indication of bad water, I just drop some water to my LFS to confirm my findings.

I hope I can figure out what this is and I'll try to have a clearer picture.

I found a snail eating welk and I took it out of my tank this morning cause it was on the open(I had been hunting for it for a week now since I've found out what that one was.)

Like I said, I spend a lot of time just examining my tank...;D

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
It looks like it could be a Ball Tip Anemone or a Hidden Cup coral. One why to tell is it's a Hidden Cup Coral is to make it retract gently and if you see a skeletal structure it's a coral.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

That confirms what I found on this page just now.

If you guys look down a bit you'll see a clear anemone looking animal similar to my pic. It says to be a ricordea... Did I score good? I do not know where it came from.

They are not popular because they are not very colorful or large. They can be difficult to keep.
