    We've had this snail for a few months & when we got it, it did have a little pink thing on it. The little pink thing is now a big pink thing.

    Any idea what this is? Could it be a sponge?

    Looks like a tunicate. Harmless and cool if that is what it is. Could be some kind of sponge.

    I looked up some pics of tunicates & it doesn't quite look like what's attached to my snail. It has two openings, one on each end, and one end opens & closes.

    sounds like some type of mussel or barnacle, if so their just filter feeders
