    I have a rock fragment that has some solomon zoos on it, and on the back side of the rock there is this dark slimy thing. The black thing seems to be sticky also and if i place the rock on another rock, it starts to attach or something. Can anyone identify this?

    Yep, thats a sponge. They are good for your water quality, but do not tolerate air very well at all though, just a heads up.
