likes the light but recoils to a white ball in dark.

I only count 9 tenicles, I thought Goniopora has 24...

 

i say gonaripora i have one with way more then 24 tenicals. more like gosh i'd say close to 50 to 90 i will post pics in a min. my tank just woke up. be back in a sec!!!!!

 

That's true.

If it doesn't have 12 (Alveopora) or 24 (Goniopora), it's an octocoral (8 polyps) I've never seen before.

 

Those would be polyps and not tentacles.

 

here is mine. he is still waking up he gets much bigger. i think there is more then one cause there are at least 2 what i call its mouth but might be its......well butt
