what is this?

    on a piece of live rock i got, there is a small anemone looking thing....about 1/4" or so across. it is red at the base, and has small tentacle things that are out sometimes, with small white/clear looking bubbles on the end

    i have tried to get pictures, but my camera hates me

    i did some googling on what you said, and some of the pages that came up had something that looks almost exactly like it....strawberry anemone

    does that sound right? are they bad?

    If it is indeed a strawberry, that's awesome!! I've read those are really rare, and they aren't pests like aiptasia. If I'm totally wrong, I know someone on here will call me out!

    Try to get a pic of it!

    he also doesnt like bright light, and has managed to survive my cycle
