"Guardian Angel" post is about the strangest...

But here is another that happened a couple of years ago.

I purchased 10 little Nerite snails from on-line (Marine Depot?).

After acclimating them, I sprinkled them all about my 125 gal tank in different locations.

A few nights later I saw something hard to believe.

All ten snails had gathered together and were on glass in a perfect line playing follow the leader! [IMG]

Who would have guessed that snails were "herd" animals. (staying in a group so my chances are better that someone else will get eaten instead of me.)

    Anyway was a strange sight...

Didn't do them any good. All eventually got "eaten" anyway.

    :p

We've got a scribbled rabbitfish that likes to gulp air from the surface then dives back down to release the bubbles. It does this constantly for about an hour or so before the lights go out every night. If the darn fish weren't so Pavlovian, I could get video of this but any time that I approach the tank, they stop everything that they're doing to beg for food :)

My Cinnamon Clownfish use to live in the mantle of my 6"Squamosa clam. The weird thing was that the clam was not affected by it...never closed up or became stressed out!!!

I've got a pair of percs that nest in my gigas clam. I've even seen the female go IN the clam through the inhalent. If that clam ever gets mad, that clown is doomed :)

There's nothing wrong with a good rubbing now and again. ;D
